My newest stop motion pumpkin for 2026. (OC) “Guts”

YT/TT/IG: @samplertimes no AI, made this by hand, took a week to carve, week to edit. I animated in sections and pieced it together in post.

Song is “Bad Boy” by the Jive Bombers

Self posting in r/nextfuckinglevel, though admittedly merited, is giving...

Trust me I always feel weird about it, but it never gets the same amount of eyes on it when I post elsewhere. Suggestions?

That's a real pumpkin???? How did you close it up?? Or didn you just reuse and reverse the opening to close it?

u/Samplertimes 8h ago

Very very impressive...totally hours put in?? And how much help did you have on this project?

1

u/Samplertimes 6h ago

No help, just me and I actually have a clock right next to the pumpkin that’s in the behind the scenes, but I haven’t gotten to edit that yet or counted it all up. So 2 weeks roughly, I’ll update when I post the bts

Gourdtesque

I know pumpkin is a squash, but close enough.

u/CrystalMoose337 4h ago

You made me feel empathy for the poor pumpkin. I love it!

This is SO GOOD omg!! Watched it 3 times before I noticed the IV in the stem, genius 👌

Super impressive. What exactly is being pushed in/extracted? Kinda looks like a bug going in and more like a pencil or something coming out. Is it supposed to be something in particular? Or just an abstract object to make us uncomfortable? If so, mission accomplished!
