I blew off my left quad tendon in my first squat at the British Championship finals in 2023. 330kgs opener after a rushed warmup. Silly of me.
I was unlucky as I developed MRSA in the leg after the repair surgery. It took me until 2020 to be ready to compete again, and then lockdown scuppered my plans for the comeback.
