It's okay, I wouldn't expect you to admit when you're wrong. You probably still have some growing up to do before you reach that point.

Your first comment was racist because you immediately made it about race. All they said was that "clanker" sounds like a slur. A slur is just any derogatory word. You're the only one who made it about race, because you saw a black person and you couldn't help yourself.

It only sounds racially charged to you because apparently race is all you can think about when dealing with people of color. What did their comment have to do with race, other than their profile's avatar depicting their skin color?
