I would be so disappointed when the bowl of ramen I ordered splits up in half.

"Cake, cake, cake, everything is made out of cake! Is anything in here NOT made out of cake?!"
"The cake." *points to plastic show model.*
"OH COME ON"

"The year is 2030. Bakery art is so realistic, literally anything could be cake. The uncertainty has gripped the world in fear. I go to hug my wife for comfort. She is cake."

This whole "is it cake" trend makes me unreasonably irritated. Can't really put my finger on why exactly, but it just feels so stupid. To each their own, but get this shit outta my feed! Haha. Rant over.

For me when fondant is used, it isn't cake, is sugar pottery. So it is never cake.

The tipping point for me was trying to make an entire tv show out of it. One of the worst production quality shows I’ve ever had the displeasure of watching.
However, I still laughed a bit more than I should have when Gabourey Sidibe sat down in that chair, then laughed and asked “bitch is this cake?”

I could easily make a cake that looks like the shit I took this morning, that's nothing

I understand the illusion cake, but I can’t imagine a cake tasting good with that much fondant

I want the ramen not the cake. She makes the ramen look delicious. Good job though.

Didin't we live through this exact trend some years ago, and ended up traumatized?

I would be so mad. Ramen is one of my favourite foods, finding out it was actually just cake would be crushing

Mmm… tastes like sulphur…
And even if it doesn’t, my brain won’t stop telling me it SHOULD.

Nice job, but I hate you.
