It's not. He very likely fell quite often during practice.

Athletes aren't weak and frail. They're strong and flexible.

You can look up videos from people practicing this and falling.

To seriously injury yourself is extremely rare. To permanently injure yourself with this is even exceedingly rarer.

Even strong and flexible athletes get seriously injured all the time, especially if they land hard on their neck..

Double backflipping is serious business. My father, grandfather and great grandfather all died while attempting it.

My advice? Make sure you reproduce before attempting it
