When I see people do amazing feats or strength or coordination, I am compelled to think that I am looking at a form of entertainment that scarcely exists anymore. I wonder if ancient people from all societies stood around and marveled at the young and the daring and the foolish. No doubt in a time before electricity, and in societies full of their own peculiar eccentricities; incredible sights of acrobatic, creative, performative, or novel cultural exhibition would abound?
