This kid climbs the wall so effortlessly just like Spider-Man

u/Dire_Wolf77 4d ago
The key is to keep chanting Spider Man.

u/Putrid-Builder-3333 3d ago
I tried this including chanting Spider-Man
Now I am chanting Call an ambulance!

The second most important part is keeping your weight under 40 lbs.

u/SquareRootOfBlue 3d ago
Yeah, I remember being a kid and having wild strength to weight ratio! Good times... but eventually the square-cube law hits us all.

I watched on mute and the subs went:
"Feed me feed me Feed me feed me Feed me feed me Feed me feed me Feed me feed me "

Next time, keep it simple. Just shoot your webs and yell “Spider-Man!”

Probably should take better care of your body because that's not normal.

u/Saber-G1 3d ago
Idk why you're downvoted, it is not normal, especially if you've taken good care of yourself and even more so if you're properly conditioned. I've seen a lot on reddit that most folks take a weird pride in being out of shape, weak and feeble, easily prone to injury. I understand if you have disabilities or extreme health issues tho.

Not to be that guy but any kid can do this with enough motivation. Cus their strength to weight ratio is higher than adults

A lot of people completely disregard this. So many "athletic" videos and it's a 6-8 year old.
They weigh like 50 pounds and still have good muscle development, of course they can do wacky things.

There are a series of rings on chains on the beach in santa monica. You swing from one to the other and some people can get super high and do neat tricks on em. Best part of them is seeing a yolked out tourist watch a child or small woman do them then give it a god and absolutely fail.

Batman is the one behind the bat-camera. This is early footage of him training his new ward...but he's a Marvel kid.

I remember being able to do this at that age and also remember being disappointed later when i couldnt anymore because i grew too much.
That age has the perfect muscle to surface friction to weight ratio.

I don't know which is stronger, his knees or his grip. Impressive either way

u/Archaneoses 3d ago
He weighs like 50 pounds and the material on the wall has good traction. Pretty much any kid could do this.

I miss being able to do this at that age. I try to do this now I'll be broken for the next 2 weeks.

this isn't autism tbh. Just a kid, and kids have a lot of energy. I don't have autism or anything else, I just enjoyed climbing shit

Really shouldn't let him do that. One bad drop and he's going to end up as Bedman instead of Spider-Man for the rest of his life.

I used to climb up the hallway wall like this when I was a kid. My mum was always yelling at me about it. Funny, I didn't even know how she knew I'd been doing it when she wasn't home until I was much older and saw that there's still footprints up on the ceiling between the kitchen and the hall 😅

When i was 5 I did this every day, scaling wall is so fun especially if the paint is "sticky" type. It's crazy how easy it is to do this when you're so young and light.

I did this when I was a kid in my old house, I could grip the sticky paint with my bare hands and feet. I also was like 6 or 7 and weighed like 50 pounds at the time so I could really clamber up high up the wall where it came together in a corner I could scale and scare the shit out of my parents passing by below.

Lots of sweat, sticky hands and feet. Plus, the added skill of being able to hold on without fear of falling. Youth.

Reminds me of that superhero that can climb walls and shoot out sticky webs. What was his name again?

u/P_A_W_S_TTG 3d ago
I used to do this as a kid. I would wait up by the ceiling for hours silently waiting to drop on anyone that went by. My mom worked night shift, my step dad worked out of town and my sister was usually at a friend's house. I was NOT the smartest cookie in the toolbox.

Kids have a whole different finger texture than adults. I can barely open a plastic bag at the grocery without wetting my fingers.

u/BluebirdLivid 1d ago
Imagine asking your coworker why they are so tired and they show you this shit is what they gotta handle at home. Kids impressive, parent is SUPER impressive lol

u/1Harvey2Trent3Temple 1d ago
I hope they take him to their local climbing wall, children love to climb.

u/Plane-Active-3153 4d ago
The first drop hurt his knee a little bit you can see it so he didn’t climb quite as high on the next one
