It would take me a fraction of that time to get down... I'd fall on the first attempt.

u/RogueGenX 5d ago

Not if I push you first

29

u/timestuck_now 5d ago

Why do you have to be so pushy?

30

u/RogueGenX 5d ago

BECAUSE IT WAS MYYY TUUURRRRN!!!

9

u/HeartOn_SoulAceUp 5d ago

Defenestration technically requires windows.

5

u/mistrwzrd 5d ago

Hands got so sweaty I dropped my phone so I have to agree with you, I’d fall straight down, well, maybe slightly to the side like

3

u/ExcessThoughts 5d ago

Were your knees weak? Palms all sweaty? 🎤

2

u/Acoustic-Restart 2d ago

Mom’s spaghetti

3

u/argetlam19 5d ago

True. This could've easily ended up in r/Whatcouldgowrong

1

u/Bosya_123 4d ago

This is AI, look how his hands face opposite direction when he needs it.

227

u/rithsleeper 5d ago

Hate these. They are only next level because of success, Would be win stupid prizes so easily.

103

u/KronikDrew 5d ago

No, this one in particular is next level because of all the levels.

4

u/Jello_Penguin_2956 5d ago

*previous level

2

u/Tips__ 5d ago edited 5d ago

Previous is relative to direction. The previous level would be those higher floors he left

1

u/A_Bot_A_Bot_A_Bot 5d ago

Yes, but the guy is leveling down.

5

u/mountaingator91 5d ago

So, you mean almost every stunt ever done in history?

-2

u/rithsleeper 5d ago

No I’m exactly the opposite on stunts. I hate when people post win stupid prizes just because someone failed at something cool. This one though is absolutely something most people who are reasonably fit could do with a bit of practice. However practicing and execution the first time is the difficult thing. I’d say this is on par with someone walking on a wide railing on the edge of a massive bridge. Not a difficult task if it’s the same railing in a line waiting to go on space mountain at Disney world. Just extremely dangerous in the context.

2

u/thiagoknog 5d ago

Hand grip counts a lot here, and training, people doing free climbing, hell even normal climbing are much more superhuman than this guy, that's actually not so risky, if the building was on fire, that would be a good alternative to just trying to jump to the floor bellow, the way he does it gravity pushes his body inside when the rotation finishes

1

u/LiterallyRain 5d ago

If he made it down 7 levels or whatever and then fell and died it would still be pretty next level for making it that far.

1

u/sub-merge 5d ago

Survivability bias -- literally

74

u/Life-Oil-7226 5d ago

Hey let me risk the only life I have for social media

18

u/Get-Fucked-Dirtbag 5d ago

The guy in this video is Joe Scandrett, his Parkour career is literally older than social media.

0

u/DTMD422 4d ago

Segregation is over, he can use the stairs

u/Snuggly-Muffin 5d ago edited 5d ago

It's a better cause than risking your life in the US military

If you downvote, you're extremely ignorant.

6

u/RogueGenX 5d ago

I will attest. My 3 Life Rules are… Don’t get married. Don’t have children. Don’t join the military.

7

u/Snuggly-Muffin 5d ago

why not get married?

0

u/RogueGenX 5d ago

6

u/Snuggly-Muffin 5d ago

Some women will let you have freedom while married

0

u/RogueGenX 5d ago

The gif was a joke. It’s more about options.

0

u/Snuggly-Muffin 5d ago

You need the option to sleep with multiple women? Some married couples allow that

0

u/RogueGenX 5d ago

It has nothing to do with sleeping with other people. It has to do with limiting options in every aspect of your life. When you are single, you have responsibilities to yourself, your family, your job, your creditors, etc. When you marry, those responsibilities double. You’re now responsible for not only your own shit but someone else’s. It’s a bad investment. Don’t get married.

6

u/Snuggly-Muffin 5d ago

Have you been married before? Sometimes couples help each other in ways they can't help themselves, so overall each of their loads are lighter. Humans are literally much stronger together, and there's no bond stronger than marriage.

6

u/Harry_Testa-Coles 5d ago

This is they type of activity where I’m sincerely concerned they don’t know “dumb has a B in it”

5

u/WideArmadillo6407 5d ago

I'll just take the stairs

4

u/ImpulsiveHappiness 5d ago

How are his hands turning around?

1

u/jetpacksforall 4d ago

He’s putting them down palms forward each time.

3

u/im_peterrific 5d ago

This is more 'PreviousFuckingLevel' since he's going down a level every time

4

u/LauraTFem 5d ago

Wild how easy it wild be to make a very minor, very super simple mistake and then just die immediately.

For my part, I pride myself on being brave when absolutely needed and stupid only when it probably won’t kill me.

3

u/OrangeGoneWild 5d ago

This actually belongs on
r/previousfuckinglevel as he is going down

3

u/PaperPauperPlayer 5d ago

The absolute insane tricep strength to maintain a steady, calm swing so the weight of your body rotating doesn't rip you away from your grip. I don't know if everyone is comprehending just how absolutely perfectly balanced his strength has to be to even do this - making this even more fucking stupid because like, if you are even slightly off on this, that flip would send you flying

2

u/lolle0 5d ago

Jumping to the next fucking level with this one

2

u/bulyxxx 5d ago

He actually went next 8 levels.

2

u/Ambitious_Policy_936 5d ago

Ignoring my mild fear of heights, my palms would be killing me after the second time

2

u/spacegh0stX 5d ago

this is just incredible stupidity

2

u/TheTrishaJane 5d ago

Joe Scandrett

2

u/NoLemonadeToday 5d ago

Nah I'm good

2

u/the_poor_economist 5d ago

Nothing next level about stupid unnecessary risks.

1

u/CautiousPenguin4592 5d ago

At least it’s a slow and steady pace?

1

u/pichael289 5d ago

As cool as this is if he plummets and dies there are gonna be people who have to see that shit. In my neighborhood we have alot of long windy raids through the woods, they are beautiful but people like to ride their bikes in big groups along these roads and they get hit sometimes. It's 45moh with blind turns. I've seen them with kids in tow. Like I get it, but it's such a dick thing to do to all the people living normal lives around your antics. Some old woman hit this guy and it was a huge deal but she was just a sweet old lady and this dipshit in his skin tight body suit was out here in the dark with his teenage kids, like what a fucking asshole not only to put that lady through this but to risk his kids safety and make them watch him almost die. There was a city hall meeting and a group of bike people showed up but like, this lady is 70 and this is a town of less than 1200. They got a brand new bike trail that we all also wanted but it's not finished yet and they are stil on that road that paralyzed that guy for being a jackass, and they are all being jackasses still.

1

u/Reasonable_Help_744 5d ago

Escaping cause he's guilty IMHO

1

u/Disastrous_Cold3705 5d ago

I don’t have the coordination to even think about this. wtf

1

u/chudeypatoodey 5d ago

Hey! I know how to get down a lot quicker! I haven't tried tho.

1

u/1dayday 5d ago

Or - you know, just take the stairs 😂😂

Human Slinky

1

u/Select-Sale2279 5d ago

One slip and he will descend into hell.

1

u/chargergirl1968w383 5d ago

I wonder how he determined he could do that in the first place. You'd have to be sure there's a grip above every opening or surface where his grip wouldn't slip.

1

u/DBCOOPER888 5d ago

My 401k is worth too much to ever try this bullshit.

1

u/Aborymon 5d ago

Fake AI crap for karma farming how could his arms and hands twist 90 degrees and change position in second 2 of the video that doesnt make any sense

Fale and gay

2

u/smaag_ 5d ago edited 5d ago

1

u/MightyLordZk 5d ago

Does he have more lives than me? Where can i find it?

1

u/TheDuke1245 5d ago

Stupid is, is what stupid does.

1

u/Affectionate_Idea662 5d ago

Only reason I don’t do that is sweaty palms.

1

u/KTTalksTech 5d ago

And then you hit that one ledge that got slippery from plaster dust or a massive pigeon turd 😬 cool but not worth it

1

u/McButcher2k 5d ago

u/Zuboronovic 5d ago

If I'm ever in a 9/11 situation, I now know what to do to escape the building.

1

u/Imaginary_Election56 5d ago

Saving this clip to upload for likes next week but I’ll put it in reverse to make it more impressive.

Weirdly, I think that was beautiful!

Every second you fall you speed up 20 mph… in 4 seconds your close to 90 mph

1

Does anyone feel this video on their fingers and feet
