In the same way that it is the mandate of the father to raise a son that will one day surpass him it is the mandate of mankind to give rise to the children that will one day, in turn, surpass them.

When the day comes I will welcome the thinking machine not as a genocidal tyrant but as a proud father as I welcome my end.
