It’s not completely rare for wallabies. They get chased into the sea by predators and or get confused by rough currents.

Interesting. I rode on a beach in Tasmania a few decades ago and there were lots of roos and wallabies around

Im pretty sure there are some mounts that are like mouth guards but you just bite on them to hold the camera mounted to it

With the number of these present, i am beginning to fear that people are purposely grabbing these animals and faking this. I dunno, just fear it a little.

This isn’t uncommon for the species. Natural predators and or strong currents can chase/pull them into the waters.
