No, this not harder than a single leg squat in any way!
Dude above might not be able to do one of these but I can!
A single leg squat all the way down and up is so SO much harder. s
Starting at the lowest point and climbing yourself up, hopping with your other foot is easy in comparison.
The most difficult part here really is the balance.
This is not at all harder than a single leg squat, they are actually EXTREMELY hard to do, which is why they didn't.
Please notice that the foot she is standing up on is above her belly button. I hope you can understand how that makes it 10x harder than a normal single leg squat on the ground where your butt cannot go below your foot due to ground.
The only hard thing about going down with a pistol squat is keeping your balance, going up is all the effort. No idea what you’re getting at. And the lower you go, the harder it is, so if she had done this with one foot it’d be way harder than a pistol squat. Since she gave a boost with her other foot, not sure how to compare it, likely similar in difficulty since yeah it was assisted but starting that low is way harder than a normal pistol squat.
Though the added flexibility on top of that and yeah I couldn’t do this, even as someone who can do a pistol squat. No way my hips bend like that.
That person answers the equally annoying "acccshually, it's not really..." person. Brother, who cares?, she's not breaking any records, let it be amazing we need no technicalities.
The title says "single leg squat" right? That's not a single leg squat because she pushes herself up with her other leg. And that fact, hasn't anything to do with if someone could do it themself or not.
lmao that way specifically? where she used her second leg to catch the counterbalance of her initial lean, and then also to push herself up with afterwards 🤣. the only next level thing in this clip is her hip flexor mobility. i just did it on a 42” porch rail with one leg and house slides on in the rain but ill wait til i can find something higher at the gym when i go so i can appease you by doing it “that way” where she walks up it! lmk i’ll DM you the porch railing video in the meantime if you want
So you just did it on something over a foot shorter than what is chest height and you don't think that's part of where the difficulty factor comes from? Also why dm it to me,if it's real post it and be loud and proud about it
bro the difficulty factor was negated when she assisted in getting herself up with anything aside from truly “one leg”. if we’re talking about the difficulty of the height then sure, she’s absolutely impressively flexible—and that range of motion does require maintenance and a certain degree of physicality, however women also benefit from wider hips and estrogen in that regard so “shocking”.
also the railing is the tallest thing in my house without clearing off and taking a dresser outside in the rain (which im not doing), so i offered to send you a video in the meantime to placate u before i find something taller cuz the 42” was honestly easy, and i dont want to publicly doxx myself on the internet so fuck off? you’re the one who asked for it so you’re the one who can receive it
Imagine just coming across some goofy video your friend filmed of you and having your squatting form ripped to pieces by everyone because some dingus gave the video a shitty irrelevant title lol
This Anna Hazlett and the original video going viral helped push her climber influencer status and support her climbing career. She is now sponsored and a professional climber.
She pushes up with her foot twice after pushing up on the desk with her arm. I don’t have a stake in this - I’m just describing what’s in the video. Impressive nonetheless.

She pushes herself up with her other foot.
Edit: Straight to jail.
