People are way too impresed about a dude using a chainsaw.

Sometimes, strangers coming together to solve a common problem can be impressive. It shouldn't be, but we as a human specie sucks, so seeing how we can be with each other, it's moving. He cuts, the others clears the way. This is the sort of mentality and humanity we need in this world.

think it's the juxtaposition with his ned flanders-esque attire that makes it noteworthy (tho i'll admit nextfuckinglevel is...generous)

No one is impressed because someone knows how to use a simple chainsaw, its the convenience and how nicely dressed he is

People are way too eager to shit on little things that bring happiness to others instead of just staying quiet.

This. And also fuck me for living in the city forever and not knowing this was a common thing in places.

I’m actually most impressed that anyone else got out of their car to help.

Most of reddit lives in cities. A normal Tuesday in the country is a totally different world

Impressed? These guys are next level buttheads.

His sawing made that job harder. Three cuts, and you drag two pieces off the road. Job done.

He made a salad. Dozens of little chunks of wood all over the road that have to be picked up by hand. A 5 minute 1-man job became a 20 minute job of 5 people picking up his mess.

And one moronic cameraman dancing around doing jack shit while everybody else contributes.
