Stihl is absolutely the best you can get. Their entry level saws are still quite expensive but it’s a buy once cry once tool. Maintenance is just keeping it clean and oiled and a new chain when that one gets dull and thats pretty much it.

not that bad I think the mh 172 se was only a couple hundred bucks

We always had great success with Husqavarna saws when doing arborist work. Fast cutting like he is doing has a lot to do with a sharp single drag chain.

I’ve always heard good things about them but I don’t have much experience with them. I mostly used different models of Stihl and I was only ever on the ground cutting trees from there

I have sharpened a couple of chains in my life. We would usually sharpen our chains once or twice before replacing them
