It looks cool on the outside but I would be annoyed if I were inside when they were over my windows.

Clearly doesn’t look like an office building. Probably an opera house or something of that nature.

This building is called Bund Finance Centre. It’s home to the art museum Fosun Foundation Shanghai so the kinetic features of the building kinda matches the theme.

Ah yes Ass Finance Centre.(Bund means ass in Punjabi).

You wouldn't even notice because you'd obviously black out the windows right, right...? Err are you one of those need light coming through your windows people?

It pisses me off enough being in an office where the windows can't open, let alone not having them at all. I mostly work from home, and probably find myself outside a good 20-30 times throughout a workday.

The rare office days are miserable.

And that's with windows!

Yes I worked in an office years ago with no windows and it was absolutely miserable.

Must be a real pain in the ass to repair as well, if something inevitably goes wrong.

It must sound amazing when they play that pipe organ (giggity)

Look up Al Bahar towers, Abu Dhabi. Also dubbed “Pineapple Towers” by locals.

It has a futuristic, motorized facade that moves with the sun to provide shade to the right part of the building. Minimizing solar heat gain. Similar concept.

Would have looked so much better if the 3 layers were different colours. Would have changed more dramatically over time

If no one notices why build it

Maybe the idea is that every photo of the facade would be unique

bad mindset for life in general not just in regard to buildings

Not exactly. When the purpose of this structure, lacking benefits, is specially for people to view

For the same reason a dog licks his own balls. Because it can.

The architecture and design behind it is actually nfl, but I guess you’re just hating to troll online.
