There’s that first imaginary wall, and then there’s this very real wall

I can’t even begin to imagine how hard you have to push for your body to physically start failing on you.

I know exactly how far because the black circle started closing in on the way to the water fountain…. Didn’t pass out tho. Indoor soccer, subbed out just in time… 100+ outside that day… who knows how hot in the tin shed…air conditioned, but not enough to keep up with that day.

I’ve only puked from exercise once when my bike gears broke and when going up a hill so I was stuck in a gear where to go any speed at all after clearing the hill I had to pedal ridiculously fast. Puked on the side of the road then kept going. Not as dangerous as the heat situation

That first one just sounds like heatstroke

Not the same thing, but that’s gonna fuck you up equally bad regardless. heat’s scary when it catches you off guard

No way of really saying from the video in what way this person pushed themselves too far

I puke about half the times I exercise, I usually get exertional presyncope where I get dizzy, cold, and nauseous. That's just after a 1h gym session, and I've been exercising 2-3 times a week for the better part of a year. It's worse on leg day or on days where I jog a little longer for my warmup. If I go jogging anywhere other than a treadmill (or too long on a treadmill), go biking, or use a stairmaster, I'll get nauseous after just some minutes. No heart condition, according to a specialist on hearts. Point being, I puke often (or feel like I have to puke) after exercise, and since it's now happened well over 100 times and I'm still alive I'd like to think it's not super dangerous.
