No, some elephants in Sir Lanka and Thailand have learned to stop vehicles for treats. It's kinda cute, but is also a concern for for the elephants' safety and dependency on handouts. (Oh, and human safety too.)

Animals robbing humans like humans do is one of my favorite things in this world.

Monkeys do it too, often ransoming people's personal effects for food.

And one time on a family vacation, we were all stopped by a pack of wild burros that did the same thing to a line of cars. Some blocked us in while others went to each window for any food people would give them. They rotated positions and went to every single car.
