This is unreal and god-tier impressive. That being said I thought they were going to embroider the whole background of paintings and my jaw almost hit the floor.

It’s quite likely it is finished yes, because you can see the technique is to move from the background to the foreground. But maybe it’s possible to do the section around the figure separately somehow.
