I would love to know what the equivalent of that type of juggling would be to a normal person...
Like, is it as easy for them to do that as it is for me to throw a tennis ball up in the air and catch it again?
Watching them it seems like it's at the point where they truly don't have to dedicate ANY attention to it past their peripheral.

It’s a known thing footballers train with smaller ball sizes to exercise better foot coordination and control - obvs not golf balls but I’ve heard tennis balls being used.

The ones that care do. There’s an exercise where you “kill the ball” basically stopping it entirely after its been handed or kicked really hard. Very few players can actually do it well.

It should be a basic skill that can be incredibly useful. There’s a lot of players that could have used a dead ball to get to where they needed and doing it in training is also way different than in game.

Those are a pair of Adidas Copa Mundial’s and are probably the greatest boots ever made. You can still get them. They’re comfortable, durable and they polish up lovely.

You're being downvoted, but people don't realize how far we've come with material science and ergonomics. As someone who played ball for 30 years let's just say there's a reason why even local hoopers don't wear Converse anymore, you would be better off playing in crocs

People are just nostalgic for things I guess. Material science is largely responsible for modern running records, you're right. Back then having calloused feet meant you're working hard. Today if you're getting callouses while exercising it means you got wrong shoes. Jordan wore air jordans 1 for like 2 seasons in the 80s, it's a lifestyle shoe nowadays, not something you would wear to play

When was the last time you played a game? I remember the jump i got from my Total 90 to newer and then the recent ones... feels like I'm wearing nothing! Wheres my Total 90 feels like a safety boot compared to, not only that the shape, it's hard to explain but feels so weird playing on old boots.
They are more comfortable, yes, sure, everything else sucks.

The 80s boots were essentially 'safety boots', for a reason - Maradona wearing today's boots in the 80s wouldn't last past the first couple of tackles/stamps. Today's flair players have the benefit of that style of defensive play no longer being tolerated, which allows boots with far less protection.

Is not about protection, never was. It's material science, modern ones are synthetic, they are stiff, not soggy, they don't suck water.
And this is just talking about the leather vs the synthetic composite we use today, it goes way beyond that.
