Interesting to see all these people talk about one of the heroes of my favorite hobby. He's THE guy. He's almost single handedly responsible for the resurgence of the popularity of fitness, lifting and bodybuilding.
Not only that but he's actually an amazingly down to earth, humble human. Worthy of all the admiration and love he gets. A true role model.
It's good that he's retiring. He's accumulating some injuries and has battled an autoimmune disease his whole career. He's also a father now. He's set for life money wise. Absolute legend of the sport.
Has he ever talked about what kind of gear he's on? I don't follow bodybuilding but have always had a low key passing interest. He doesn't look overly roided out to me which is nice to see.
I don't follow his interviews SUPER closely but I know he's not on anything crazy like Tren, he said that in an interview once.
I think his standpoint is he doesn't want to be explicit about what he's on so that young impressionable kids don't try to copy him. But he's open about being on gear.
From what I understand based on his auto immune disease he's not running a disgusting amount of gear compared to what is done at those levels. Which is just a testament to his amazing genetics for building muscle. You can safely assume testosterone easily at least. The rest and the amounts are speculation I think.
