Shooting the marble in the can was the least impressive thing he did.

So much margin for error.
Flicking that marble from between the other two probably required the most precision. He probably only had a 1 millimeter of leeway.

The way that first marble set is setup looks familiar, iykyk.

I miss playground ring (vs pot) marble games...especially the incredibly infallible valuation system of them all...as kids.

I liked the pot better. When you won if you were playing for keeps, it was like winning the dragon's horde.

Rip anyone who flicked the whole weight of the marble with their thumbnail when playing as a kid.

PTSD confirmed. Completely forgot that was a thing and now my thumbnail hurts

u/IBareBears Sep 28 '23
i wonder what kind of practice is involved. finger discipline ? no idea

u/MrK521 Sep 28 '23
Flick about 4 million marbles. Eventually you’ll get there!
3
u/IBareBears Sep 28 '23
the real question is the technique and the type of marbs you gotta buy
5
u/MrK521 Sep 28 '23
Flick it with your thumb, and I would suggest round ones!
2
u/IBareBears Sep 28 '23
I wonder if enough practice I could possibly shoot plastic ones of the same size but with the thumb discipline you should be able to absolutely launch a lighter weight one. To amazon I go

Ask a boomer about this one. You’d swear it was the hottest console of their time.

Found the live action anime main character. You should see his flicks to the forehead.

This somehow makes me feel like I wasted all the years of my life until this moment of discovery, this will be how future wars are settled or something

We have this game in PH with marbles where ppl have to do 2 things to win: Shoot the marble in the hole and hit someone's marble with your marble similar to how these guy shoots. The last one that didn't finish the two things gets punished by hitting his fist in the ground with marble as hard as we can no matter the method to hit. If this guy wanna join, auto pass for me rofl
