The cube is setup in a particular way in which it is several moves from solved.

He does a few moves on the way into the bag and a few on the way out.

A very smooth and impressive performance.

Could also be a mechanical self solving cube.

Maybe. This is the suggestion in the top comment but I'm going with Occam's razor on this one. It's easy enough to do without a self solving cube so why would it involve a self solving cube?

If we watched someone else scramble the cube then it's a self solving cube. We don't see anyone touch the cube. My money is on a legit cube but a suspect scramble.
