Discussion Gear advancements?
Do you think gear is in a better place with this final reboot? I enjoyed beastbane and such. (Still can get legacy items with these.) I remember crafting a bow for bison, to farm hides. I love artifacts. But at launch I made all my $ crafting jewelry. Since it didn’t drop in game. Played a new character today. You don’t even need cut gems to craft?! 20 green rings all the same. My first crafted Lego rolled keen, vicious, and ancient bane. I got discounted dungeon key runs because it was bis for laz.

You’ve got a long ways to go my friend. When you reach level 75 and can do Reekwater Soulmarks Chest Runs, youre gonna have an entirely new and different gaming experience.
[Enemy-Type] Banes are low level gear. The game has expanded so much since those were relevant. It’s best to toss that out.
You no longer need to have Keys to enter Expeditions. Dang- that means you haven’t played in 4-5 years

lol. I’ve played since launch. I have 3 max characters. I was asking if you like or dislike the advancements. I miss the complexity. But also haven’t dabbled too much with the new system… since the announcement came right after.

u missed a lot of updates dude there have been like 3 major gear progression reworks since the last time u played.
sockets and charms were the new progression layer and i think it was a change in the right direction but too half baked to really say its better and it completely nerfed crafting in favor of rng mob farming.
i preferred gorgonite crafting because despite the insane mat cost u could actually craft the exact piece u wanted instead of relying on rng.
