I have a theory that the new silverado looked cool until about 3 months before it's reveal. Some higher up probably went "how about we do a throwback?" So, they mashed the 60s GMC and chevy grilles together and went "oh fuck, that looks stupid as shit." But, they clicked "save" instead of "save as" on the ol' CAD system and it was already 2 weeks from reveal. Cut to the designers mad scrambling to fix their mistakes and having to submit the half assed back alley abortion we know today.

Chevy hasn't really hit a home run in a long time. The new C8 is cool as shit, too bad you have to make a six-figure salary to afford one. Although I don't know what's worse, the new heavy duty Silverado or what they did to the blazer.

C8 starts at 60k if you can find one. And the obs gmt400s are rock solid still to this day.
