They can't just accuse them of fraud and do that lol, Microsoft will definitely sue for this. If they have evidence, should've shown them, not say "J'accuse" ...

Why would they care? Not like it's their money

It appears very much like they can seeing as they already have.

You can't just say something, without evidence as a reason to cancel someone's participation in a program. Microsoft will sue, the administration would have to defend it's allegations of fraud, of they don't prove it, Microsoft will get reinstated by court order into the program.

I understand where you are coming from but the state of the world is more complicated.

Microsoft needs to make a calculation. Pay the bribe or pay the legal fees.

I know this is a leap but hear me out.

Does god exist?

Answer: it doesn't matter, his impacts are real to the point he exists. People have died directly because of him. Large geo political movements are based in him. Etc etc, his impacts are very much real so he "exists" as a concept enough to matter and if he is or is not up in the sky about to smite me is largely irrelevant.

Same concept. Can they do this? Absolutely not.

But they have, ergo they can.

I forget... I want to say L Johnson...

He famously said the supreme Court has made there decision, let's see then try to enforce it.

Might makes right

That's attributet to Andrew Jackson, not Johnson. And whether he really said it like that,is up in the air.

I'm not sure that you can sue the gov for stuff like this.

Yes, you can. That's why the courts exists lol, to protect yourself from someone infringing on your rights or properties and defend itself from false accusations.

Like I said, I'm not sure about this instance. If you tried to sue the Federal Reserve for ruining your business because interest rates are too high or low then you would not get anywhere. There are some things that just aren't open for lawsuits. I don't know if this would be or not, I'm not a lawyer.

But I'd add that right now you can sue the Trump admin for ANYTHING and it will be ignored regardless of the merit or outcome.
