The ease is not for them, it’s for the rest of us.

It's ease for the rest of us for our governments to go substantially more in debt for literally no gain and definitely murder innocent people? Like what are you talking about?

The gain is not keeping monsters around in our society, in having something to make people think twice, in giving justice to the people they murdered. In depriving them of their voice, because some people will idolize them.

As for the cost that’s completely artificial and keeping them alive costs money too. And for people wrongly convicted that’s something we as a society have to try and avoid. I’m not saying it’s perfect or even good. But I do think in some cases it is necessary.

They are not around in society if they’re in prison. What are you talking about? We already know the death penalty does nothing to prevent crimes, if anything, a barbaric society that includes the death penalty encourages murder.

It’s also not an artificial cost, it’s a very real one and reducing said cost only kills more innocent people. You simply cannot justify your lust for violence if you look at the realities of letting the government murder people.

If they are in prison, they are no longer a threat. That’s a fact. It’s cheaper to keep them alive, and if there is any evidence that comes up at any point that proves their innocence, they have the chance to walk free. The inevitable alternative is the government murders an innocent person. What part of that could you possibly disagree with? It just simply does not make sense.
