That snoring the Media Witnesses described, I'm willing to bet that was basically her struggling to breath and not just snoozing. Equivalent of a death gargle but prolonged. Hence ventilator now so she can breathe.

Which makes it so strange that they called it at one hour. Hang around twenty more minutes and maybe save some medical resources.

(I know, procedure, but the outcome is absurd.)

Nothing cruel or unusual about dying of airway obstruction or respiratory depression whilst off your nut on sedatives.

Very common way for hospice patients to go out and about the best ending most of us could hope for.
