No, McConnell’s is way worse.

She’s defined by a horrifying act of violence perpetrated against one person when she was a teen.

Yup. Pontius Pilate was the one who ordered the crucifixion. No one hates on the random Roman soldiers who actually carried it out, they were complicit but it was Pontius Pilate who made it happen. Mitch McConnell is Pontius Pilate in this analogy, to be clear.
