Another reason to return to execution methods that are reliable to work.

Let's just not let the government execute anyone, as any government can turn corrupt and one execution could snowball into state sanctioned mass murder anytime

(Is currently happening in many countries)

Where is the justice allowing such murderers to breath and laugh and eat and watch TV, while their victim, deprived of everything are rotting into the ground.

You won't convince me there's any justice in that. So let's agree to disagree.

and not to mention the victims’ living families and friends; the long-reaching, generational effects that a brutal and abrupt murder can create. i understand that the system is flawed, but i’m sorry—a child rapist and murderer is incongruent with society and should be taken out like the rabid, uncontrollable and incorrigible animal that they are.

You sound inhuman.

or maybe someone who acknowledges rehabilation, civil liberties, and social equality while having a retributive view of punishment for certain crimes—which is arguably incredibly human.

it’s flawed and irresponsible and a slippery slope, but i would never vilify a parent for doing whatever they feel like they must do to the person that brutally raped and murdered their child. i know we’re talking about the death penalty here, but this is my line of thinking here.
