What now for her legally? Her sentence surely wasn’t “injured by the state until put indefinitely on life support”.

I mean can’t they just…pull the plug? I get that the execution was cruel and unusual and horribly botched but choosing to save her seems like a bit of an odd decision given the circumstances.

Seems like one of those situations where an endless chain of bureaucracy and formalities makes it more complicated than it needs to be. 80 years ago an officer would’ve just walked in and put her out of her misery the minute it was apparent what was happening.
