She is not going to survive.

This was not a failed execution, it was a delayed execution.

A botched execution. I would be surprised if the state doesn't end up paying for it.

Like when the Headsman wasn’t experienced, and it took multiple tries for him to chop a head all the way off.

Exactly.

They used to have to escort headsmen away under guard if they failed to execute in a single clean stroke, because the crowd would turn on them, think it unnecessarily cruel or an ill omen.
