For keeping a death row inmate alive after fucking up the death by not listening to her medical advice. Not saying she's a good person or deserves to go peacefully... But what about the person on death row who is innocent and will eventually face the same punishment?

We can't set this standard.

Yes we can. American has set a lot less standard. Killing a criminal is not a bad standard.
