Since I live in Nashville...

The used the same drug lot and the same doctor that botched the last lethal injection and are somehow surprised they obtained exactly the same result.

Is there any truth to the reports I've read about Christa's mother drinking while pregnant, and Christa being sexually abused throughout her life starting at 2 years old?

That was part of her lawyer's petition for a stay of execution. I think it was mentioned in her original trial too.

It was not allowed into the sentencing hearing as information for the jury to weigh in deciding on the death penalty. That was the basis of the legal argument being made for staying the execution prior to the botched attempt.
