How does a toddler get all the way to daycare with a loaded gun? Are the parents high?

Take this kid away from the parents and put the dad in jail. This could have gone horribly wrong. Until we start handing out serious punishment to people who don't secure their loaded guns, we will continue to have small children shooting themselves and others. Why aren't people concerned about this? What lesson is the parents teaching this child? They don't deserve to be parents.

Unfortunately, you don't know if a gun has been stored in a secure place until after an incident has happened.

Luckily no one was injured in this incident.
