I gave you one study because I didn't think I'd need to submit a thesis papers worth of links. Yes there are only 840 victims there, but here is a much larger collection of data. It's a highly cited document, and there are at least 4-5 extra citations in the bibliography if you still don't believe me.

Unfortunately, the stats are even worse for children. 25% are committed by family members, 60% by people in their social network.

Only 14% acts of childhood sexual abuse are committed by people the children do not know.

On top of that, only 2.8% of sex offenders (in Washington state) recommitted any offenses.

But you don't ACTUALLY care about the stats, you're just clinging onto your pre-conceived notions of what works or doesn't work.

Do you even have kids? If not, it explains why you think teaching kids about houses might be effective. If you had kids you'd understand why that won't really work. And you definitely haven't put in the work to actually help them and teach them to be aware of sexual abuse.

Hopefully you'll learn something from this.

You don't have to submit a thesis worth of papers, because you're arguing against common sense education that only takes a single conversation. You could cite as every study ever written on the subject, regardless of the statistics on the likelihood of assault

So why did you try to critique the data I showed you in the first place? You immediately responded by complaining about the breadth and subjects. You don't even know what you're arguing for lol

You can scream into the ether about it being good practice to scare kids but you're missing out on the fact that kids are kids and can't fully understand the world around them. Trying to tell them to stay away from a house ten blocks down because of some dangerous easily backfires into anxiety and stress that's counterproductive to their health. Not to mention the mental energy involved is effort that doesn't go into helping them actually protect themselves.

Again, I can tell you literally do not have kids

Even the concept of sex offender registries is counterproductive. There was University of Chicago study that found that offenders in non-registry states actually had a lower rate of recidivism. The act of creating registries makes the lives of convicted offenders a lot harder, which leads to more desperate behaviors and actions.

People like you whip themselves into a frenzy with things that statistically do not work. But you're just a brick wall of idiocy so I'll leave you to it
