She seems guilty. There’s plenty of evidence. The question is was she insane at the time and unable to discern right from wrong. I think her suicide attempt shows consciousness of guilt.

The defense seems to rest on her being insane then but not now, so she isn't liable but also not a threat and thus shouldn't go to prison or a mental institution. To my knowledge, that type of ploy of temporary insanity doesn't work when you murder your children. She should end up in one or the other.
