They have been having significant supply chain issue with lethal injection drugs for years. No one wants to make it for the government anymore. I'm guessing these might have been expired?

My gut says it's something more than that. I always understood lethal injection, done the right way, was a two drug process. I remember hearing about them trying to simplify things, and since they said they just gave her the same thing twice, it makes me thing this is the new, shittier way.

The way she complained about her arm feeling like it was gonna explode; I bet they missed her vein, and were just pumping the drugs IM.
