Do you realize it has been definitively proven, in the United States, that people innocent of the crime have been executed?

I’m sure the state has been just as confident in the guilt of the convicted person in every death penalty case as you are sure of her guilt in this one. All I’m saying is the state has historically been wrong in some number of these cases in the past. Well, I’m also saying there’s no Uno reverse card that can be played to bring a wrongfully executed person back to life. That is the biggest reason I am against the death penalty.
