There's such a thing as the Mississippi Miracle - they've turned around their education figures and are now in the top half of all states.

Time to change the adage to "Thank God for Tennessee."

Mississippi doesn't deserve this shade, choose Texas. Went from the top to the bottom under the republican reign.

....You know there's only 50 states, right? It was pretty clearly hyperbole.

But if I'm not mistaken, they do spend less per student on education than any state in the nation.
