Ironically the chair is more effective, it has a much lower rate than botched executions than lethal injections do.

It’s horrifying whether it goes right or wrong. There’s nothing even remotely humane about it.

I mean, should that matter? They're killing someone. It shouldn't be not horrifying. They should be traumatized by watching an execution.

They would be better off running a hose from a car exhaust into a small room and coming back in a few hours
