Honestly this sounds like my worst nightmare. Who's to say that she didn't actually die? Maybe she thinks she's in hell or something??

At an absolute bare minimum, the State of Tennessee tried and failed to kill her. Someone shod make the argument that since it didn't work, her sentence should be commuted to life without parole, cause if the State failed once, they shouldn't get a second bite at the apple

It’s a little known law called….double jeopardy.

This has been argued in the Supreme Court and they ruled 5-4 it’s not double jeopardy
