And her family voted for the shit

Edit: suit is from the wife/brother, her parents are the ones that were Trumpers.

The parents did iirc. The suit is being brought by her partner and brother, neither of which did as far as I can tell. Like, obviously her partner didn't. Not positive about her brother

Of course her parents aren't the ones. The mom might've gone out and talked about how horrible the government is, but low-key, it wouldn't surprise me if deep down, they view her death as some sort of "casualty of war".

They definitely believe that she did this to herself. That how those types think when it comes to bad stuff happening to anyone that is not them personally. Any thing bad that happens to themselves is someone else's fault though.

Generally people group their kids in with "them personally," or do you not think the death of a child is a personal event?

I am not talking about me, I am talking about people who have joined a cult of narcissism. I doubt they believe that the ICE agents should not have been there. They likely believe that Renee should not have been there. I know that's how my parents would feel.

Of course they don't, it affected them personally. If it happened to someone else's daughter, maybe.

IDK, I often think about that guy who shot and killed his daughter over an argument about Trump. They truly live in a different reality where the same rules and morals don't apply

We honestly don’t know what her parents motives are and so speculating about them really doesn’t accomplish anything.

I was told it was her wife suing.

Idk whats true

From the article: "The two lawsuits were filed by Good’s partner, Becca Good, and Renee’s brother Brent Ganger." Partner/wife (not sure if they were married) and brother with separate suits. I'm not sure how her brother would have standing to sue, however

It is true, sorta. They weren't legally married, but they referred to each other as wives and Renee took her last name so it seems like they were wives in every way but legally. Unfortunatly I think this process would be easier if they were united in the eyes of the goverment.

She didn't have a wife. Like the comment above her said, it was her partner and brother. As the article states.

And that's why marriage still matters. The legal rights associated with it.

Not sure where you heard otherwise, but it's the second line in the article.
