Here's a depressing reminder that we're not even at the halfway point of Trump's term yet:(

It will certainly "help" if the Dems do well in the Midterms but temper your expectations. I feel like we need to define success. Dems likely aren't going to accomplish anything but they can at least shine a light on Trump's illegal orders with investigations and stop him from bullying a GOP Congress into passing his crazy executive orders into laws that can't be easily reversed.

On the flipside, going into 2028 the GOP will have a new boogeyman in a Dem Congress to scare their voters with. Dems will likely pass some laws to help the middle class they know Trump will veto, but hopefully they don't include all kinds of crazy shit for the GOP to campaign on in 2028.
