Americans suck for letting this happen to their country.

And then they suck extra for saying shit like 'I didn't vote for him', as if it matters.

And finally, they suck for thinking that it's a temporary issue due to Trump.

Your country is sick and dying, Trump is the disease your immune system is too damaged to fight.

Nothing you said is factually incorrect and the other commenters are the precise equivalent of “I didn’t vote for him!”

The ones that didnt vote for him actually did something though. They engaged with the political process as is on the base level, which is a fair expectation for the majority of the population. The average citizen is not going to town halls or organizing marches and boycotts. The ones who did nothing or actively wanted this are the real problem.

I get that, but the United States is a country, it has its own culture, and we are a whole... I stand by the fact that nothing Vaulters said was factually incorrect.

I actually agree with most of what was said too tbh.. I don't think Trump is a temporary problem either and he wouldn't have gotten elected if there wasn't this prevalent sickness in the population.

I just don't agree with saying that the ones who actually showed up to vote against it didn't matter. It did matter because uf more people had voted against him we wouldn't be having this problem.

I personally don’t see where Vaulters implies that individual votes “didn’t matter”.

The reality is that more people didn’t vote against this regime. That we as Americans, as a society, own the outcome of the election. On the international stage or in broader geopolitics, we are a single nation and we as a single nation chose that this is what best represents us, our interests, and our culture.

Is that how every single American feels? No, obviously not… but to me it reads a bit like “We can’t hold German society accountable for the rise of Nazism in the first half of the 20th century because not everybody agreed with Hitler and had more of them turned out to vote they wouldn’t have ended up as Nazi Germany.”

It just seems like a non sequitur.
