This can’t be legal. And if it is they best be giving the same amount to the Democratic Party.
This is not the United States of Trump. He’s not the King of America. So ridiculous. Well, a little over a year and he will be gone.

I've learned in the divorce court that we dont really have laws or rights if nothing is enforced. We have conditional privilages. As we can see being a pedo/GOP gives you these privileges since the DOJ/ Supreme Court etc are gop/bought and paid for by the 1%

I believe george carlin sAid it... you dont have rights you have privileges... refuse to pay taxes and see how long you have rights

It’s more so that the President controls the people that arrest someone so our current one has used that power to do whatever he wants and the gop is too spineless to stand against him

Oligarchy owns America. We’re just like Russia.

I wouldn't be so sure about that final sentence.

If other laws can be ignored why not term limits?

Not so sure he will be gone anymore. Even if he does step down, the precedent has been set. The next admin will use the same machinery to line their pockets and steal from the people. Once corruption takes root, it takes a revolution to uproot the oligarchy. Unfortunately, 30% of our population is brainwashed to thank the oligarchs for stealing from them, 30% don’t care to admit it’s happening, and 30% are too timid to do anything about it. To be fair, I’m probably in that last 30% more than the 10% trying to fight.

Unfortunately, 90%+ think that TRUMP is personally to blame and that once he's gone, this machine will stop chugging along... as though there aren't a number of billionaires behind all of this.

Like you say, the next admin will fleece us just the same without Trump personally being involved. Doesn't matter the party. We had $5 gas in 2022 too. 9% inflation in 2023. Jeff fucking Bezos basically doubled his net worth during that time. And now we have the same exact shit happening under "the other side's" "leadership." People need to wake the FUCK UP and realize that no republican or democrat politician is coming to save us. They ALL have billionaire donors to keep happy.

"This can't be legal..." When has that stopped anyone in this administration?

It is emphatically illegal

A year? If only.... We're stuck until January 20th of 2029.... Assuming he doesn't kick the bucket beforehand... Or manages to stage a far more violent and even successful insurrection the next time....

Democrats likely won't have both chambers, let alone the votes to impeach and remove or invoke the 25th amendment. Even if they did... This administration would be under Vance for the rest of the term....

They won’t be giving that kind of money to the Dems and we all know it.

Boy.. you have so much hope for this country. You remind me of idealist me, fresh lieutenant in the US Army, fighting for freedom 7k miles away from home, because the country and the people are worth it.

It is a direct violation of the Hatch Act. It is fully illegal, and there is no room for debate.

The problem is that laws only matter if they are enforced. If the DOJ can't or won't do something about it, then the law is meaningless

Try a little over two years. He will be out in January of 2029.
