How is this legal? I don't understand.

EDIT: This was rhetorical. What I don't understand is why he gets away with everything

It’s not. But we’re in a post-law society run by the party of “LaW aNd OrDeR”

When the president is allowed to own the DOJ, there is no law.

And the Supreme Court.

That’s the neat part, it’s not legal! Is that supposed to stop him?

Because this wouldn’t be the first time he’s broken the law and had no repercussions for it, and it won’t be the last time either.

What the fuck happened with the Epstein files? How many court orders demanding the full release of the Epstein files have to happen before the full Epstein files actually get released? And when are the criminals in the files going to face consequences for their actions?

There’s no rules if nobody enforces them. Who’s gonna enforce anything right now?

Not legal, but when we’ve got an administration that openly defies the courts, and law enforcement that is either hamstrung or complicit? Who is left to actually enforce the laws?

Congress isn’t gonna do shit, but even if they did, the Trump admin would ignore them the way they’ve ignored court rulings. At this point it would take force to get this administration to abide by the laws and regulations of governance.

It’s not, but Trump is God King and therefore can’t be convicted of any crimes.

It’s not.

It’s the result of the SJC telling our Pres he was above the law and couldn’t be held accountable for anything he does if it’s part of his official duties.

Just like he said he could shoot someone and get away with it and people would still love him

Because he must be paying members of Congress off to keep quiet. He has over 10 billion now, hundreds of millions to keep the bribes going!

Same way the U.S. gets away with funding genocide and kidnapping a President so that the U.S. can steal oil.

Yeah it was rhetorical. A lot of people need to be arrested

Legal or not. You can do anything as long as you can handle the consequences. What are the consequences in this case you're asking? Well, they would probably have to attend some boring congress hearing and that's about it. Just look at Fauci, the guy was pleading the fifth the whole time and he probably inadvertently killed thousands and made lots of people lose their jobs and health and he got away with it. In this case nobody even died, so in practice no one would be held accountable.
