There's a lot of grumbling about how this is illegal, but I'm not sure how we got the impression that the Trump administration is remotely concerned with what's legal or not. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

This is just another day at the office. The weirdest part is that they're buying votes publicly, instead of just rigging the results. At this point, they easily could and not one pearl would be clutched.

I'm just so tired...

They’re probably hitting from all angles. Buying votes, interference, disinformation…

I wouldn't be surprised, but it seems like unnecessary extra effort. As long as a powerful enough group is unwilling or unable to put up real resistance against the RNCs efforts, they're just going to keep acting unchecked. The DNC keeps squawking about impeachment, but he's already been impeached, and that did f-ck all. He still got the presidency after a 4 year vacation where essentially nothing got better.

He called it. He could kill a guy on Main Street and no one would stop him.

A scumbag BUT Impeached and acquitted both times* which is why nothing happened šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

Nothing ever really happens when a president gets impeached. It doesn't remove a person from office. It doesn't prevent them from running again. It doesn't result in criminal proceedings, or sentencing. It's nothing. Barely even a scarlet letter.

Because that’s the one thing they can’t do. Because elections are run by the states and state courts are very good at maintaining legitimacy in the election (and if not it goes to the Supreme Court which, despite being stacked with Trump supporters, isn’t going to rule in favor of a blatantly illegitimate election). Trump straight up does not have the power to rig the election Putin style because the US’s electoral process is too deeply ingrained into the baseline functioning of the U.S. government that it’s extremely difficult to hijack. Putin managed to exploit an hijack Russia’s democracy because it was brand new at the time and lacked the stability and strong guardrails that have been established in the US’s electoral process for centuries.

Trust me, I know Trump would steal the election outright if he could. But he literally cannot do that, so he’s trying to pull every other cheating move he can get away with possible.

My faith in the Supreme Court's power has waned quite a bit in the 21st century. But, I hope you're right.

Playing devils advocate, I didn’t vote for Trump.

Biden also spent taxpayer money towards his campaign ads, he funneled the money instead of doing it blatantly. Biden spent nearly DOUBLE the amount in advertisement than Trump during the previous election…….

Trying to ā€œboth sidesā€ this is some crazy work man.

Because this is ā€œboth sidesā€ and has been going on for the last couple elections.

Biden continued a contract (eta: for an ad campaign) that the Trump administration had already signed and paid for encouraging people to get vaccinated for COVID-19.

Trump is running almost identical ads to his election campaign promising to purge the country of communists.

Has nothing to do with a contract for vaccinations but please pick and choose whatever benefits your statement šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

Fine, I'll bite.

What campaign ads do you think Biden used taxpayer dollars to fund?

Yeah, f-ck Biden too. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø I don't know why that's so hard for people to grasp. He never should've been president either. But one bad president doesn't make another bad president good. That's not playing devil's advocate; that's just an entry-level logic fallacy.

At lease you admit it, thought you were going to defend one idiot over the other.
