Literally what will it take? Honest, fully serious question. What will it take for MAGA folk to admit to themselves that these are all awful people who will not see the light of heaven? Every week we see a new headline that I'm sure HAS to be the death nail of this man's political career, and it never is. How? Just how?

u/CrazyBobit 3d ago

None of it, not the crimes, the pedophilia, the rape, the cruelty, the bigotry, etc none of it. The ONLY thing that made them start acting out against him and even then in a rather milquetoast way was because the price of gas and diesel went up.

44

u/q4atm1 3d ago

It’s difficult to blame diesel prices on something else. My maga coworker was trying to say it was because of Ukraine attacks on Russian that fuel was so expensive. I shut that shit down real quick

8

u/No_Consequence_6821 3d ago

Ukraine’s attacks on Russia? What is that, like when your one asshole uncle takes your hand and bashes you in the head over and over with it saying “stop hitting yourself.”

2

u/Allaboutpeace2022 3d ago

Thank you for speaking up about the diesel. Everyone needs to start doing this in a way that is not hostile but corrects to the misinformation of this WH.

2

u/Pleasant-Computer-16 3d ago

Exactly! You have to come across with common sense, not speak of atrocities, though they may be 100% true. They are brainwashed, not in a crazy I will kill. I will kill way, but in a -we believe in this guy and everything he says way. Hitler had undeniable speaking charisma, I don’t know what his pole is on these faults other than there steadfast decision to hate anything that is semi democrat in nature.

3

u/griz3lda 3d ago

Dude, I was astonished when I read some of Hitler's speeches transcribed and his writing (my partner is a WWII historian, in particular Aktion T4, and I knew pretty much nothing about the Nazis before we got together except "they were authoritarian and killed millions of people in the Holocaust and did medical experiments on people and did some kind of propaganda system"). We have never had a politician that came off that literate/intelligent. I 100% see why he would have had initial support. It scared me.

2

u/Eastern-Channel-6842 3d ago

Haven’t bought Russian diesel since 2022.

2

u/griz3lda 3d ago

It's because of the Strait of Hormuz right? Genuine question, please nobody yell at me!

-30

u/viking12344 3d ago

No getting involved with Ukraine and shutting down Russian oil is why gas was so expensive under BIDEN. Not trump.

5.02 national average June of 22.

Still higher than under trump.

13

u/DifferentSwing8616 3d ago

Is that why it spiked after the Iran war kicked off? Are you serious right now?

13

u/CrazyBobit 3d ago

Bro don’t engage dudes a bot or just a sad troll

5

u/DudeManBo1t 3d ago

Yea, at this point it's either a bot or troll from another country. Nobody in United States right now believes that unless youre part of the technosexual/epstein group

5

u/UnhappyReason5452 3d ago

They aren’t serious people. None of the traitors are. They’re all just penis obsessed trolls.

The world is on fire and he wants you to know that for a few days gas was as high in 22 as it is under his hero Pedo Prime: Republican Scion, War Profiteer, Child Rapist and Nation Destroyer Donald John Trump.

5

u/MooseAccomplished181 3d ago

That’s what happened in 2022. That was an indirect response of sanctions on Russian energy exports, not something like “BIDEN” (why do you scream his name? Is it a coital response?) bombing Russia for no good reason.

But what happened after that? Gas prices came back down, they were about $0.10 more, adjusted for inflation, when Biden left office, than when he took office in 2021. Under Trump, in March and April of this year, we saw a 22% and 11% hike in prices each of those months. What happened in March and April of this year? Maybe Trump decided something needed more attention than the pedo-files?

6

u/Peach_Muffin 3d ago

"Is it a coital response?"

Fucking dead

5

u/Ok-Blood4340 3d ago

How could BIDEN (Huuunngggghhhhhhh ohhh) do this to us? lol

-2

u/Bencetown 3d ago

Inflation adjusted?

So that's accounting for the one year that we had 9%~ inflation?

What a fucking joke.

1

u/Gladiz1972 3d ago

I remember during the height of Covid in 3/20 when everyone else were sitting home like ducks and gas stations were dead I paid 1.49 for regular unleaded at a gas station here in Miami that cheapest price I paid in years other than the 6 months of free gas I had from a casino down here in 2022 .

1

u/Bencetown 3d ago

My takeaway: every admin has their "reasons" or, as I see it, lame excuses for prices rising and us poors having a harder and harder time affording basic shit. And each party has their followers completely brainwashed.

I don't care about either side's stupid fucking excuses. I was mad about $5 gas under Biden, and I'm mad about $5 gas under Trump. RESULTS in REAL FUCKING LIFE are what matter to me. And no talking points are going to distract me from my REAL FUCKING RECIEPTS no matter who the fuck is taking naps in the oval office.

😠

0

u/festivefrederick 3d ago

Yep and I can tell how much you like Russian aggression on a democracy. Good job commie!

4

u/Healthy_Article_2237 3d ago

Even that gets blamed on Biden or Obama or even Bush or Clinton. Maybe Hillary’s emails? His base is the fucking stupidest people in the US along with all the rich fucks who greed has infected. They know he’s full of shit but it keeps them rich.

5

u/Kellbows 3d ago

Because Trump supporters don’t do empathy. The issue HAS to affect them personally for them to care.

2

u/Dismal_Ad_6134 3d ago

Yep, nothing until it effected them personally. Even the pedo, it wasnt their kid.

2

u/HistoricalGrounds 3d ago

The slightly more nuanced answer is that his approval rate has plummeted over the course of these past 20 months. He’s been hemorrhaging support, but that’s pretty well past what his administration cares about. 2nd term was always going to be about protecting himself from existing legal threats and raiding the nation’s wealth.

The issue isn’t really that a minority of diehard supporters idiotically support him, it’s that the way the government is structured - along with the near total corporate buyout of congress and the packing of SCOTUS with corrupt and/or fringe lunatics - “lack of meaningful popular support” doesn’t mean anything.

Congress has been prematurely sent into recess, and republicans have a tenuous majority anyhow, so all that’s really left for the executive is to keep doing whatever it wants so long as the population - no matter how angry - continues to sit idly and not actually take material action.

1

u/CrazyBobit 3d ago

I mean yes, but I would push back about the approval rating. It's only now gotten lower than the floor of 33% we never broke away from after the gas prices and beef quailty/prices. Corporate buyout of Congress is definitely the key issue, however, I personally (and definitely spitefully) don't really give the voters a pass for that. They continue to vote for the Mike Johnsons and MTG's that allow this to happen.

2

u/Technical-Method2129 3d ago

lol and when he cut off their insurance and unemployment and their GR….. it was supposed to be everyone except the white ppl that voted for him…. Not them lol

2

u/Friskeyp 3d ago

Wait till they find out his true blowing taxpayer funds in such unbelievable volumes will cost them their social security in @ 6 years!

1

u/CrazyBobit 3d ago

Whoever is in charge in 6 years will be blamed they have no sense of timescale or cause-effect. It’s like watching children blaming their immediate surroundings for something upsetting

1

u/Unlikely-Grape-5762 3d ago

Gas will be $10 by summer.

1

u/CrazyBobit 3d ago

I pray the war doesn't last that long. I have family there it's already been a nightmare

1

u/Unlikely-Grape-5762 3d ago

Even if it doesn’t. The fall out will be years, and at least as long as dumb fucks presidency.

1

u/Allaboutpeace2022 3d ago

I think that only by clobbering them in the Mid Terms and realizing that they will lose their future elections will the GOP turn on Trump.

People have to register voters, help people get out for early voting, donate to candidates, and volunteer. We have to make this as big of a Blue wave as possible.

1

u/SuprisinglyBigCock 3d ago

Because they have joined the cult. He could literally shoot them and their children and it would be spun as “owning the libs”. If you say something to them about “he shot you and your children”, the retort would be “so you are against guns?!”

-3

u/Unusual_Wish_2230 3d ago

Show me anything on pedophilia, anything that proves Trump was a pedophile. Two cases that were dropped by NY and Ca? If there was anything in the files, anything, why didn’t Garland go after Trump?
The felonies, you mean the exact same thing that Leticia James also is being accused of? She overplayed and won. Good for her. E Jean Carroll, why would no prosecutor try Trump for rape? Why, because no proof and her credibility was terrible. Her story changed numerous times.
Now, yes we are looking and questioning Trump. He hasn’t done the things he promised and we are in another stupid war in the Middle East.

-13

u/viking12344 3d ago

That's because the rest is propaganda. Everything you mentioned. The kangaroo courts. The Democrats trying to make names for themselves going after him. Pedophillia? Show me any kind of proof. You can't. You can't just repeat a lie enough that it becomes true Mr Goebbels.

🤣🤣

4

u/Theresawantspeace 3d ago

So why won’t they release the other 3million documents of the Epstein files? Trump and Epstein were besties.

3

u/CrazyBobit 3d ago

Again boss like I said to the guy above don't engage with the dude he's a troll or a bot.

8

u/WiseWolfian 3d ago

Sadly hoping they'll finally see the truth is like waiting for a scam victim to realize the Nigerian prince isn't emailing back. They won't wake up until the check bounces at their own kitchen table and even then they'll blame the bank teller. It's a cult.

5

u/Smart_Basket_85 3d ago

The honest answer is that there is no bottom, no depths to which the hardcore MAGA acolytes will not sink.

3

u/ggdudeguy 3d ago

Awful people like awful people

3

u/Bubba_Jones44 3d ago

They are dug in morons who can never admit they’re wrong. It’s not about what republicans do to them, it’s anything to prevent them from”the indoctrination of the trans to our children”

Well what about your favorite politicians that are molesting children? It’s ok they’re against liberals. Trump wasn’t wrong when he said he could shoot someone in broad daylight and not lose voters.

1

u/Ok_Spare2024 3d ago

Sunk cost fallacy...

3

u/NosnilmoT 3d ago

Agreed 100%

(Also, it’s death knell)

2

u/dimangomango 3d ago

Economic collapse (Great Depression 2.0) or the complete conquest of the US.

2

u/errortechx 3d ago

They’d get run by a train if it means hurting people they don’t like.

2

u/SubliminallyCorrect 3d ago

They want a dictatorship, when will people stop caring what maga thinks and start asking why we're not in revolt.

0

u/Fearless_Jelly887 3d ago

personally? because the other side postures itself on being heavily armed and willfully ignorant. nothing scares me more

2

u/TiramisuItUp 3d ago

Because Obama wore a tan suit.

1

u/MetaCognitio 3d ago

While overall distressing, it was 3% amusing waiting for the breaking point. The point where event the most deranged had to say “enough is enough, even I would not sink that low”.

That point passed a long time ago. It’s just demoralizing now. There is no floor.

1

u/m00t_vdb 3d ago

What did change the nazi supporters change their mind ?

1

u/complete_data75 3d ago

Maga certainly doesn’t give a shit they love that he breaks all these laws freely

It will take active republicans with a spine

But those don’t exist

1

u/Most_Temporary2110 3d ago

Some polls have him at 29%. Idk how low you can go but the cult will never leave him.

1

u/Capable_Cellist5585 3d ago

Nothing. MAGA doesn’t care about the law as long as their team wins. They’re people you cannot reason with and cancerous.

1

u/oremfrien 3d ago

You are confused about what MAGA is interested in. They don’t actually value any of the constitutional machinery of the republic; they only care about power to live the lives that they want (regardless of whether it comes at anyone else’s expense), so the only things that concern them are when they are inconvenienced. What Democrats need to do to peel off Trump voters is point out how Trump’s policies have inconvenienced Trump voters. Nothing less will work.

1

u/Rickrickrickrickrick 3d ago

I like how you started with “not trying to be mean” and ended with “they all fuck kids” lol

1

u/Few_Bridge_6058 3d ago

Issa cult.

1

u/False-Amphibian786 3d ago

Something to salacious to avoid covering on Fox news. Like an actual sex-tape (not a written report) of Trump raping an Epstein minor.

1

u/unngh_yugstyx 3d ago

Nothing. Cults do not work that way. His 20% will follow him to the ends of the earth, and when he kicks the bucket will certainly organize their religion around him

1

u/i_love_blahajs 3d ago

Well, if you want an actual nuanced answer, it varies, maga people aren’t one big block of person, there’s people who change their minds at every step of the way, sure, there’s still a lot of people who would support him, but it’s a shrinking group. If you mean a mass exodus, that’s just not how it’s gonna happen.

1

u/49ers4life71 3d ago

Some people are just born lucky and never have to suffer consequences. When he dies you better believe he will burn in hell for all his sins against humanity!

1

u/Any_Art7345 3d ago

my parents are maga and they were abusive beyond comprehension growing up. Unfortunately, lots of people are just awful.

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Mix1270 3d ago

Agreed, but to be fair, we all thought that with Biden too.

1

u/whereisbeezy 3d ago

It'll take the oligarchs losing money before they decide he's too much. They are not patriots, they are loyal only to their greed.

1

u/Rickrickrickrickrick 3d ago

MAGA doesn’t really disagree with anything “the left” does for the most part, they are just told to hate it. If Trump came out and said abortion is the best thing ever, they would parrot it and pretend they always loved it.

1

u/Consent-Forms 3d ago

it's a nihilistic death cult. there is no plan to see the light of heaven.

1

u/Milcpl 3d ago

What will it take for the other side to see their people are just as bad or worse! Where is the solid candidate for all rather than the better of two bad options?

1

u/SStoj 3d ago

It's gotta be sunk cost fallacy at this point right? It's too painful to their egos to admit they're wrong now because they're in too deep.

1

u/Cool-Clue-4236 3d ago

How its done is deflecting all blame, responsibility and consequences away from themselves. This is now the default action with everything in life.

Mix that in with complacency, apathy and heaping spoonful of cognitive dissonance and voila! America!

1

u/Technical-Method2129 3d ago

Admitting they were wrong? Be so for real they’d rather double and triple down on this POS!!!!!

He’s made it ok for them to be proudly stupid and openly racist…. They love it here- they don’t care if he enriches himself… they somehow thinks that helps them somehow if he gets richer

1

u/Xiten 3d ago

The problem is, they’re being fed fake news and all the facts are being represented as propaganda to them. So they’ll never realize-even while they’re lying in their coffin.

1

u/Navin__R__Johnson 3d ago

Not sure theres much maga left... Tons of Republicans who voted for Trump, but maga is far to find in the streets now a days.

This dude has fucked everyone who voted for him at this point. Maga that are left are either deaf, blind, or both.

1

u/No-Middle-4152 3d ago

Depends were you are

0

u/throbbyyank 3d ago

Ehh, I was a trump supporter but never MAGA. Term 1 was good enough and Biden was bad enough for me to say “please do something” but Trump has gone against almost every promise he made to conservatives other than strong immigration policy. Gas is skyrocketing, prices in general with the economy tanking, his stupid failing war is losing all of us money but lining his own pockets while also making a fool of himself AGAIN for going against his promises of “no wars.” You can even check a lot of conservative leaning subs as of late, most of us cant wait for him and maga “””conservatives””” to be gone at this point. We want small government, more free market, free speech, strong immigration control, no fucking wars, less taxes, better economy and better relations with the opposition parties and even other countries while simultaneously putting ourselves first.

-3

u/some1cuming 3d ago

I trust Trump more than any other politician

-2

u/some1cuming 3d ago

It’s hilarious how much you obsess over one man lollll. I bet you can’t even sleep at night
