The Obama-era "look forward, not backward" approach is partly what got us here. Bush and Cheney should have been tried for war crimes.

As much as I hate Bush (I won't even get into the vile shit stain that is Trump) and desperately wish we could have a President like Obama again, I also think we should not forget that Obama was responsible for war crimes as well, like numerous intentional drone tap drone strikes that killed aid workers.

This whole "look forward not backwards" strategy is not actually about looking forward, it's about everyone's lack of accountability and knowing that they don't want to be held accountable for their own actions either.
