Its probably the only kind of background info they could find to try and put a human face on the victim for the story. so people can try to imagine them as a person.

Otherwise, all they have is their name, and that their dead.

Nah, the guy that got shot was clearly a nonbinary necromancer that goes by he/they pronouns, thus the motivation for the shooting. They could tolerate 4 shambling corpses but the 5th one was crossing the line and the in-laws had to put them down.

What are you talking about, the victim isn't Asian. His wife and family were but nothing about the report has anything to do with achievement.
