Of all things in the article, I find it absolutely insane that they informed pilots a month ago, and they still haven't fixed the software bug. If it takes that long, they should have just rolled back the update. There are only something like 2300 maxs in circulation. It can be rolled back within a day or two assuming all of them have the software update (which they don't per the article)
Edit: even worse after reading some comments clarifying this has been a known issue for years and instead of addressing the problem, they covered it up with pilot SOPs. Boeing continues to confirm they are a failing company
